About the Journal
In the American Journal of Arts and Sciences, originality and rigor are our benchmarks—and we fully embrace AI as a creative and intellectual partner. We encourage authors to use generative models, custom algorithms, and any AI-assisted techniques in developing their submissions. What matters isn’t how a manuscript was written, but whether it presents original, methodologically sound, and impactful research.
We explicitly reject unreliable AI-detection tools and percentage metrics, which have been shown to misclassify legitimate work—especially from non-native speakers—and lack scientific validity. Our peer-review process evaluates manuscripts on their academic merit and contribution across the arts, humanities, sciences, and engineering, irrespective of human or algorithmic assistance.
The journal’s focus and scope include original research articles, reviews, essays, and creative work spanning:
-
Arts & Humanities: literature, philosophy, visual and performing arts, digital media
-
Sciences: mathematics, physics, biology, environmental and health sciences
-
Engineering & Technology: mechanical, electrical, chemical, AI, robotics, sustainable technologies
-
Social Sciences & Interdisciplinary Studies: economics, sociology, education, and more
Founded to break down academic silos, the American Journal of Arts and Sciences champions human–AI collaboration, welcomes global perspectives, and fosters solutions to today’s complex challenges. We safeguard privacy and review integrity through confidential, unbiased assessments and use trusted archival systems for long-term preservation.
We invite scholars, engineers, artists, and researchers worldwide—whether crafting work by hand, by code, or by a blend of both—to push disciplinary boundaries and advance human understanding together.
